Magnificent Obsession

It's very easy to continually become embroiled in our fears and challenges, after all it has become a pattern for most of us that our thoughts flow unchallenged. It is easier to allow our conditioned ways of thinking and then acting free reign, in order that we maintain the status quo of our lives. We even tolerate the pain of this conditioning for fear of changing the known, to the point of deep sadness.
It needn't be so challenging, creating a life worth living can be done by tiny steps but the important part is to be facing in the right direction, changing your thinking and your responses to old situations, circumstances and dramas of your life is the beginning of the road to freedom. Placing your focus on what you want to see in your life and removing your focus from what you don't want to see is a choice.

  1. Beautiful! I have been experiencing this recently since a 'friend' informed me he would be 'stealing' the money I lent to him (i.e. not returning it). Made it very hard to think positively ... but I have reached a point where I realize he's living the life he creates with these approaches (not so good) and I am living the life I lead with better ones.

  2. You are so correct Eden, learn, grow and move on. I just think of Karma here. You are essentially leading by example. "Become the change" and all that. Well done on your approach and attitude. Allan
